i hope everyone knows that the little boxing scene in episode one IS probably my favorite scene in the whole show. there is so much to love about it. this scene hooked me on the show single-handedly (and it made me think they were already in love/canon, until my brother told me they weren’t).

the banter is so much fun!!! i love all their interactions throughout the series, but this one is just So good. charles is such a silly goose!!!! i love him jumping around and messing with edwin physically. i love edwin being so comfortable, smiling with his teeth and looking exasperated but it’s completely overshadowed by his amusement and obvious care for charles.

i love how edwin says he shouldn’t have to learn to hit things because charles will always be there, i love how it sets up their dynamic. i love how edwin gives in anyway and absolutely SUCKS at it. i love how niceys charles is about it. i love how close they are the whole scene. i love these boys

i really enjoy drawing, especially making fanart, but my number one struggle has always been drawing eyes. i adore the way you draw them, so would you mind showing how you do it?

This one I find harder to answer because I tend to be pretty inconsistent when it comes to eyes and I loooove drawing them massively bigger than they probably ought to be.

I guess my main process is to think of the eye as a sphere (so the normal way really lol) and try to extrapolate expressions and variations out from that, keeping in mind that the pupil moves around a sphere, not a flat surface.

Same thing for the eye in profile.

I like to use slight wrinkles and eyelashes to help define forms too.

That's how I usually draw eyes 🤷‍♀️

you hear at the beginning before the chants of

makes me wonder,,,, was aeolus trying to help odysseus, calling him to open the wind bag to beat poseidon?

....but the winions did tell him in dangerous

"it was meant to stop you by design"

so were they wanting him to open it and fail again??? almost like a siren's call to open the bag?

maybe... because as hermes said in dangerous

"we went through so much to get this"

as in aeolus didn't willingly hand it over this time? (hermes is the god thieves don't forget, he's stolen from gods before. he was only a baby when he stole apollo's cattle. how hard can a wind bag be?)

but either way what i don't think they expected was for

odysseus "i have the power of friendship & divine rage on my side" of ithaca

to then use said wind bag as a ye olde greek jetpack and (monsterously) curb stomp poseidon till he begs for mercy (and sounds so good doing it too) (sorry not sorry)

i still love how natural erik's attachment to charles looks in 'first class'. on screen charles is basically the only person that shows compassion to erik and treats him with respect and kindness. apart from erik's mother, naturally. the others don't think much of him or openly dislike him, so it's no wonder and it's entirely believable that erik would attach himself to charles like a lost pup.

Hey, remember how I've been writing pro-Jedi posts here and on Quora since about 2020 and how there's awesome blogs on this site that have been doing it for even waaaaay longer?

And like, all these pro-Jedi meta accounts and posts were really a minority in a fandom that, for a while, had kept repeating the same "ACSHUALLY, the Jedi are the bad guys if you think about it!" line?

Until The Acolyte began to be marketed as a story seen from the Sith's POV, where the Jedi would be antagonistic... and suddenly a buncha people came out of the woodwork saying "the Jedi were the good guys!"

Remember how I previously said that this all felt to me as if this was all really just a big chunk of Star Wars fans going "ewwww girls"?

I stand by it.

Edit: AND it's really frustrating. Because now the counter-arguments are stuff that I know and can demonstate is factually incorrect...

... but so if I say anything, I'll get thrown into the mix with the "ewww girls" crowd. Fuck's sake.

i think if purpled got egged the egg would first entice him with money and riches to which he would obviously dive head-first into. but at some point he’d get impatient because the egg was Not holding up its end of the deal and that’s when it’d drop the bomb of him needing a legacy and how barely anyone on the server could barely tell you his name. since his ufo would still be standing i don’t think he’d end up taking the revenge path he did with q. honestly it’d probably work pretty damn well.
